In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Azariah son of Amasiah king of Judah became king.

He was a son of sixteen years when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother was Chalia, from Jerusalem.

And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, according to all that Amasias his father did.

Nevertheless, the high places he did not yet remove; the people were sacrificing and burning incense on the high places.

And the Lord touched the king, and he was a leper until the day of his death, and he lived in the house of Aphphousoth; and Jotham the son of the king was over the house, judging the people of the land.

And the rest of the words of Azariah and all that he did, behold, are not these things written on the book of the words of the days of the kings of Judah?

And Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David; and Jotham his son reigned instead of him.

In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, Zechariah the son of Jeroboam reigned over Israel in Samaria six months.

And he did the evil in the eyes of the Lord, according as his fathers did; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

And Shallum son of Jabes conspired against him, and Keblaam, and they struck him and put him to death, and Shallum reigned in his place

The word of the Lord, which he spoke to Jehu, saying, Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation; and it came to pass so.

And Shallum son of Jabes reigned, and in the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah Shallum reigned a month of days in Samaria.

And Menahem son of Gaddi went up from Tirzah and came to Samaria and struck Shallum son of Jabes in Samaria and put him to death.

Then Manahem struck Tersa and all that was in it and its borders from Tersa, because they did not open to him, and he struck it and ripped open the women who were with child

In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, Menahem son of Gaddi became king over Israel for ten years in Samaria.

And he did the evil in the eyes of the Lord; he did not depart from all the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.

In his days Pul king of the Assyrians went up against the land, and Menahem gave to Pul a thousand talents of silver, for his hand to be with him

And Menahem brought out the silver upon Israel, upon every mighty man of strength, to give to the king of Assyria fifty shekels for each man; and the king of Assyria turned back and did not stay there in the land.

And Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his son reigned in his place.

In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekahiah son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria for two years.

And he did the evil in the eyes of the Lord; he did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.

And Pekah son of Remaliah, his third officer, conspired against him and struck him in Samaria, before the house of the king, with Argob and with Ariah, and with him fifty men from the four hundred, and he put him to death and reigned in his place.

In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, Pekah son of Remaliah reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty years.

And he did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord; he did not depart from all the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, who caused Israel to sin.

In the days of Phakee king of Israel, Thaglathphellasar king of the Assyrians came and took Ien and Abelbethmaacha and Iannoch and Kenez and Asor and Galaad and all Galilee, the land of Nephthali, and he deported them to Assyria.

And Hoshea son of Elah conspired a conspiracy against Pekah son of Remaliah, and struck him and put him to death, and reigned in his place in the twentieth year of Jotham son of Azariah.

And the rest of the words of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah, king of Israel, Jotham son of Azariah, king of Judah, became king.

He was a son of twenty-five years when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and the name of his mother was Ieruša, daughter of Zadok.

And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, according to all that Uzziah his father did.

Only the high places were not yet removed; the people were still sacrificing and making incense on the high places. He built the upper gate of the house of the Lord.

In those days the Lord began to send against Judah Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah

And Jotham slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father, and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
