And there shall no longer be a fortress for Ephraim to flee to, and there shall no longer be a kingdom in Damascus, and the remnant of the Syrians shall perish; for you are not better than the sons of Israel and than their glory. Thus says the Lord of hosts.

And there shall be left in it gleanings, or as two or three olive berries on the topmost bough, or four or five on its branches, there shall be left. Thus says the Lord God of Israel.

and they shall by no means trust in the altars, nor in the works of their hands, which their fingers made, and they shall not look on their trees, nor their abominations

Like much water, many nations, like the force of much water being carried down, and he will drive it away and pursue it far, like the chaff of straw when men winnow before the wind, and like the dust of a wheel, a whirlwind carrying it along
