Moab has rested from his youth, and he was confident in his glory; he was not poured from vessel to vessel, and into exile he did not go. Therefore his taste has remained in him, and his smell has not failed.

Therefore, behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will send him those who bend down, and they will bend him down, and they will thin out his vessels, and they will break his horns in pieces

He who flees from the face of the fear shall fall into the pit, and he who ascends from the pit shall be caught in the snare, for I will bring these things upon Moab in the year of her visitation
