And Balaam, seeing that it was good before the Lord to bless Israel, did not go according to the custom to meet the omens, and he turned his face toward the wilderness.

And Balaam, lifting up his eyes, sees Israel encamped by tribes, and a spirit of God came upon him

And taking up his parable he said: Says Balaam son of Beor; says the man who truly sees

says, hearing the sayings of God, who saw a vision of God in sleep, his eyes having been uncovered

How good are your houses, Jacob, your tents, Israel!

like shady valleys and like gardens by rivers and like tents which the Lord planted, like cedars beside waters

A man shall come forth from his seed, and he shall rule over many nations, and his kingdom shall be exalted more than Gog, and his kingdom shall be increased.

God brought him out of Egypt; as the glory of a unicorn, to him he will eat up the nations of his enemies, and he will drain out their fat, and with his arrows he will shoot down an enemy

If Balak should give me his house full of silver and gold, I will not be able to transgress the word of the Lord, to do it evil or good of myself; whatever God should say, that I will speak.

And now, behold, I am returning to my place; come, I will advise you what this people will do to your people in the latter days.

And taking up his parable, he said: Balaam son of Beor says, the man says, the one truly seeing

hearing the words of God, knowing knowledge from the Most High, and seeing a vision of God in sleep, his eyes having been uncovered

I will show him, but not now; I bless, but he is not near. A star shall rise out of Jacob, and a man shall arise out of Israel, and he shall shatter the rulers of Moab, and he shall plunder all the sons of Seth.

And Edom shall be a possession, and Esau shall be a possession, his enemy, and Israel acted in strength.

And one shall arise out of Jacob, and he shall destroy the one who is escaped from the city

And seeing Amalek and taking up his proverb, he said: Amalek is the beginning of nations, and their seed will perish.

And seeing the Kenite, and taking up his parable, he said: Strong is your dwelling place, and if you set your nest in a rock,

And if to Beor there becomes a nest of cunning, the Assyrians will lead you captive.

And seeing Og, and taking up his parable, he said, O, O, who will live when God puts these things?

And they shall come out from the hand of the Kittians, and they shall afflict Asshur, and they shall afflict the Hebrews, and they themselves shall perish together

And Balaam rose up and went away, turning back to his place, and Balak went away to himself
