Hallelujah. Give thanks to the Lord and call upon his name; proclaim his works among the nations.
Sing to him and make melody to him; declare all his wonders
Glory in his holy name; let the heart of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Seek the Lord and be strengthened; seek his face continually.
Remember his marvelous works which he did, his wonders and the judgments of his mouth
seed of Abraham, his servants, sons of Jacob, his chosen ones
He himself is the Lord our God; in all the earth are his judgments.
He remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded for a thousand generations.
Which he made with Abraham, and of his oath with Isaac
And he appointed it for Jacob as a decree, and for Israel an everlasting covenant
saying, To you I will give the land of Canaan, the measuring line of your inheritance
When they were in number, few and sojourners in it
And they went through from nation to nation, from kingdom to another people.
He did not leave a man to wrong them, and he rebuked kings on their behalf.
Do not touch my anointed ones, and do no evil among my prophets.
And he called a famine upon the land; every support of bread he broke.
He sent a man before them; Joseph was sold into slavery.
They humbled his feet in fetters; iron passed through his soul.
until his word came, the word of the Lord set him ablaze
A king sent and loosed him; a ruler of peoples, and he let him go.
He appointed him lord of his house and ruler of all his possession.
To discipline his rulers as himself and to make his elders wise
And Israel entered into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
And he greatly increased his people and made him stronger than his enemies.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal treacherously with his servants.
He sent forth Moses his servant, Aaron whom he chose for him
He placed among them the words of his signs and of his wonders in the land of Ham.
He sent out darkness, and it darkened, and they embittered his words
He turned their waters into blood, and he killed their fish.
Their land brought forth frogs, even in the chambers of their kings.
He spoke, and dog-flies came, and gnats in all their borders.
He made their rains hail, burning fire in their land
And he struck their vines and their fig trees and shattered every tree of their border
He spoke, and there came grasshopper and locust, of whom there was no number.
And he devoured all the grass in their land, and he devoured the fruit of their land.
And he struck every firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their labor.
And he brought them out with silver and gold, and there was not among their tribes one who was feeble.
Egypt was glad at their going out, because their fear had fallen upon them
He spread out a cloud as a covering for them, and fire to give light for them at night
They asked, and quail meat came, and he filled them with bread of heaven.
He split a rock, and waters flowed; rivers went through dry places.
For he remembered his holy word, that to Abraham his servant
And he brought out his people in exultation and his chosen ones in gladness
And he gave them the lands of nations, and they inherited the labors of peoples.
so that they might keep his ordinances and seek out his law
