And the men who were from Gibeah rose up against me and surrounded the house against me by night and wanted to kill me, and they humbled my concubine and played the fool with her, and she died

and we shall take ten men from the hundred and a hundred from the thousands and a thousand from the myriads, to take provisions for the people for those who are going in, to carry out against Gabaa of Benjamin all the folly which they did in Israel

And now give up the wicked men in Gibeah, the sons of Belial, and we will put them to death and remove evil from Israel. But the sons of Benjamin were not willing to listen to the voice of their brothers, the sons of Israel.

And the sons of Benjamin were mustered on that day out of the cities, twenty-five thousand men drawing sword, besides those who were dwelling in Gabaa; these were mustered, seven hundred chosen young men.

And they arose and went up to Bethel and inquired of God and said, the sons of Israel, Who shall go up for us leading to fight with Benjamin? And the Lord said, Judah shall go up leading.

And the sons of Israel went up and wept before the Lord until evening and inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I continue to draw near for battle with Benjamin my brother? And the Lord said, Go up against him.

And Benjamin went out to meet them from Gabaa on the second day, and he destroyed from the people eighteen thousand men to the ground; all these were men drawn sword.

And all the sons of Israel and all the people went up and came to Bethel and wept before the Lord and fasted on that day and offered burnt offerings of peace offerings before the Lord

And Phinehas son of Eleazar son of Aaron was standing before it in those days, saying, Shall I still go out to battle with the sons of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the Lord said, Go up, because tomorrow I will deliver him into your hand.

And the sons of Benjamin went out to meet the people, and they were drawn out from the city, and they began to strike some of the people, as once and once, in the roads, which is one going up to Bethel and one going up to Gibeah, in the field, about thirty men in Israel

And the Lord routed Benjamin before Israel, and the sons of Israel destroyed among Benjamin on that day twenty-five thousand and one hundred men, all these drawing the sword.

And the men of Israel turned back in the battle, and Benjamin had begun to strike down wounded men among the man of Israel, about thirty men, because they said, Surely he is being routed, he is routed before us, as the former battle.

And they turned aside and fled into the wilderness toward the rock of Remmon, and they cut down in the roads five thousand men, and they were pressed close behind him as far as Gadaam, and they struck down from them two thousand men

And the man of Israel struck down the sons of Benjamin with the edge of the sword, from city onward to beast, until every one found in all the cities; and they sent the cities that were found with fire.
